أَخْبَرَنَا شَبَابُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ: بَايَعَ النَّاسُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ وَهُوَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَنَا رَافِعٌ غُصْنًا مِنْ أَغْصَانِهَا عَنْ وَجْهِهِ، فَلَمْ نُبَايِعْهُ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ، وَلَكِنْ بَايَعْنَاهُ عَلَى أَنْ لَا نَفِرَّ، وَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَلْفٌ وَأَرْبَعُمِائَةٍ
