حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: دَخَلَ هِشَامُ بْنُ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ عَلَى عُمَيْرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ بِالشَّامِ ، وَكَانَ عَامِلًا لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَوَجَدَ عِنْدَهُ نَاسًا مِنَ النَّبَطِ مُشَمَّسِينَ، فَقَالَ: مَا بَالُ هَؤُلَاءِ ؟ قَالَ: حَبَسْتُهُمْ فِي الْجِزْيَةِ، فَقَالَ هِشَامٌ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّ الَّذِي يُعَذِّبُ النَّاسَ فِي الدُّنْيَا يُعَذِّبُهُ اللهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ، فَخَلَّى عَنْهُمْ عُمَيْرٌ وَتَرَكَهُمْ
