حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ هِشَامُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَلَى عُمَيْرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ بِالشَّامِ ، وَكَانَ عَامِلًا لِعُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَوَجَدَ عِنْدَهُ قَوْمًا مِنَ الْأَنْبَاطِ مُشَمَّسِينَ، فَقَالَ: مَا بَالُ هَؤُلَاءِ ؟ قَالَ: حَبَسْتُهُمْ فِي الْجِزْيَةِ، فَقَالَ هِشَامٌ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ الَّذِي يُعَذِّبُ النَّاسَ فِي الدُّنْيَا يُعَذِّبُهُ اللهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ . فَخَلَّى عَنْهُمْ عُمَيْرٌ وَتَرَكَهُمْ
