حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُنِيبٍ الْجُرَشِيِّ، قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ حِينَ وَقَعَ الطَّاعُونُ بِالشَّامِ فَقَالَ:" إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ رَحْمَةُ رَبِّكُمْ، وَدَعْوَةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ، وَمَوْتُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ لِآلِ مُعَاذٍ حَظَّهُمْ مِنْ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ
