حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، قَالَا: ثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَا: ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ شُفْعَةَ، قَالَ: وَقَعَ الطَّاعُونُ بِالشَّامِ ، فَقَامَ عَمْرٌو ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ هَذَا الرِّجْسَ قَدْ وَقَعَ، فَتَفَرَّقُوا عَنْهُ ، قَالَ ابْنُ حَسَنَةَ : قَدْ صَحِبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -، وَهُوَ أَضَلُّ مِنْ حِمَارِ أَهْلِهِ إِنَّمَا هِيَ رَحْمَةُ رَبِّكُمْ، وَدَعْوَةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ، وَمَوْتُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ، فَاجْتَمِعُوا لَهُ، وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا عَنْهُ"، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَمْرًا ، فَقَالَ: صَدَقَ
