أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: اسْتَعْمَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ عَلَى جَيْشٍ، وَكَانَ يُقَالُ لَهَا: غَزْوَةُ ذَاتِ السَّلَاسِلِ ، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ ؟ قَالَ:" عَائِشَةُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: لَسْتُ أَعْنِي النِّسَاءَ، قَالَ:" فَأَبُوهَا إِذًا

Narrated in both Ṣaḥīḥs (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) (al-Bukhārī no. 3662, 4358; Muslim no. 2384).
