أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا، يَقُولُ: الرَّجُلُ يُصَابُ فِي الرِّمِّيَّا فِي الْقِتَالِ بِالْعَصَا، أَوْ بِالسَّوْطِ ، أَوِ الرَّامِي بِالْحِجَارَةِ يُودَى، وَلَا يُقْتَلُ بِهِ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهُ لَا يُعْلَمُ مَنْ قَاتِلُهُ، وَأَقُولُ: أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى قَضَاءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْهُذَلِيَّتَيْنِ ضَرَبَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى بِعَمُودٍ فَقَتَلَتْهَا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْتُلْهَا بِهَا وَوَدَاهَا وَجَنِينَهَا
