عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الْمُخَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ طَارِقَ بْنَ شِهَابٍ يَقُولُ: خَرَجْنَا حُجَّاجًا، فَأَوْطَأَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا يُقَالُ لَهُ أَرْبَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ضَبًّا ، فَأَتَيْنَا نَسْأَلُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ، فَسَأَلَهُ أَرْبَدُ فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ :" احْكُمْ فِيهِ"، فَقَالَ: أَنْتَ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي، وَأَعْلَمُ قَالَ:" إِنَّمَا أَمَرْتُكَ أَنْ تَحْكُمَ"، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فِيهِ جَدْيٌ قَدْ جَمَعَ الْمَاءَ وَالشَّجَرَ، قَالَ:" فَفِيهِ ذَلِكَ"، قَالَ: وَأَصَبْنَا حَيَّاتٍ بِالرَّمْلِ، وَنَحْنُ مُحْرِمُونَ، فَسَأَلْنَا عَنْهُنَّ عُمَرَ ، فَقَالَ:" هُنَّ عَدُوٌّ، اقْتُلْهُنَّ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتَهُنَّ
