أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْهَمَذَانِيِّ قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ يَوْمَ النَّهَرَوَانِ ، فَقَالَ:" الْتَمِسُوا ذَا الثُّدَيَّةِ ، فَالْتَمَسُوهُ فَجَعَلُوا لَا يَجِدُونَهُ، فَجَعَلَ يَعْرَقُ جَبِينُ عَلِيٍّ ، وَيَقُولُ:" وَاللهِ مَا كَذَبْتُ وَلَا كُذِبْتُ فَالْتَمِسُوهُ" قَالَ: فَوَجَدْنَاهُ فِي سَاقِيَةٍ - أَوْ جَدْوَلٍ - تَحْتَ قَتْلَى، فَأُتِيَ بِهِ عَلِيٌّ فَخَرَّ سَاجِدًا
