ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ: جَاءَتِ الْحُمَّى تَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ أَنْتِ ؟ فَقَالَتْ: أَنَا أُمُّ مِلْدَمٍ ، قَالَ: تَعْرِفِينَ أَهْلَ قُبَاءٍ ؟ قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَاذْهَبِي إِلَيْهِمْ، قَالَ: فَشَكَوْا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: إِنْ شِئْتُمْ دَعَوْتُ اللهَ تَعَالَى يَكْشِفُ عَنْكُمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ طَهُورًا . قَالُوا: بَلْ تَكُونُ لَنَا طَهُورًا
