حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّ الْحُمَّى قَدْ أَلَحَّتْ عَلَيْنَا، فَقَالَ: إِنْ شِئْتُمْ أَنْ تُرْفَعَ عَنْكُمْ رُفِعَتْ، وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ أَنْ تَكُونَ لَكُمْ طَهُورًا ؟ قَالُوا: تَكُونُ لَنَا طَهُورًا
