حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّمْسَارُ، حَدَّثَنَا هِقْلُ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ : يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، إِنَّا لَنَدْخُلُ عَلَى الْإِمَامِ يَقْضِي بِالْقَضَاءِ نَرَاهُ جَوْرًا، فَنَقُولُ : وَفَّقَكَ اللهُ، وَنَنْظُرُ إِلَى الرَّجُلِ مِنَّا فَنُثْنِي عَلَيْهِ ؟ ! فَقَالَ: أَمَّا نَحْنُ مَعْشَرَ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكُنَّا نَعُدُّ هَذَا نِفَاقًا، فَمَا أَدْرِي مَا تَعُدُّونَهُ أَنْتُمْ
