الهَرْولة: ضرب العَدْو وقيل: بين المشي والعَدْو.نوع من أنواع السير بين المشي والعدو، وفي الحديث: «من أتاني يمشى أتيته هرولة» [أحمد ٢٥١/ ٢، ٤١٣]. قال ابن الأثير: وهو كناية عن إجابة اللّه تعالى، وقبول توبة العبد ولطفه به. «النهاية ص ٢٦١».The definitions are quoted in shortened form from dictionaries of technical terms; the full entries and those of other dictionaries are in the Mîzân Lexicon.
