أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ. وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَرْبَعَةٌ ، كُلُّهُمْ - قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ : - مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ : أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ ، وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ ، وَزَيْدٌ ، وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ ، قُلْتُ: مَنْ أَبُو زَيْدٍ ؟ قَالَ: أَحَدُ عُمُومَتِي

Narrated in both Ṣaḥīḥs (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) (al-Bukhārī no. 5003, 5004; Muslim no. 2465).
