أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى أَبُو مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِي أَحْمَدَ - وَاسْمُهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الزُّهْرِيُّ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ جِبْرِيلَ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ خُزَاعَةَ مَاتَ، وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ وَارِثًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: اطْلُبُوا لَهُ عَصَبَةً ، فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَعْطُوهُ أَكْبَرَ خُزَاعَةَ
