أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، ثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا -، قَالَ: لَمَّا وُجِّهَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَكَيْفَ بِالَّذِينَ مَاتُوا وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ؟ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ: وَمَا كَانَ اللهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ
