حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أَبَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ ضُرِبَتْ لَهُ قُبَّةٌ فِي مُؤَخَّرِ الْمَسْجِدِ، وَرَجُلَانِ يَتَمَارَيَانِ، فَسَمِعْتُ شَيْئًا يُحَرِّكُ أَطْنَابَ الْقُبَّةِ ، فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِ اطَّلَعَ حَاسِرًا عَنْ رَأْسِهِ قَدِ احْمَرَّ وَجْهُهُ، قَالَ: أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَمْ تَهْلِكِ الْأُمَمُ قَبْلَكُمْ حَتَّى وَقَعُوا فِي مِثْلِ هَذَا، تَضْرِبُونَ الْقُرْآنَ بَعْضَهُ بِبَعْضٍ ؟ ! مَا كَانَ مِنْ حَلَالٍ فَأَحِلُّوهُ وَمَا كَانَ مِنْ حَرَامٍ فَحَرِّمُوهُ، وَمَا كَانَ مِنْ مُتَشَابِهٍ فَآمِنُوا بِهِ
