حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ أَخَاكُمْ قَارَفَ ذَنْبًا فَلَا تَكُونُوا أَعْوَانًا لِلشَّيْطَانِ عَلَيْهِ تَقُولُوا: اللَّهُمَّ اخْزِهِ، اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْهُ، وَلَكِنْ سَلُوا اللهَ الْعَافِيَةَ فَإِنَّا أَصْحَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُنَّا لَا نَقُولُ فِي أَحَدٍ شَيْئًا حَتَّى نَعْلَمَ عَلَامَ يَمُوتُ، فَإِنْ خُتِمَ لَهُ بِخَيْرٍ عَلِمْنَا أَنَّهُ قَدْ أَصَابَ خَيْرًا، وَإِنْ خُتِمَ لَهُ بِشَرٍّ خِفْنَا عَلَيْهِ عَمَلَهُ
