حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَوْسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَبُو مُقَاتِلٍ السَّلُولِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي بُرَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مَالِكِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: « اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ » قَالَ: يَقُولُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ : وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ، أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ : «وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ: وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ مَحْلُوقُ الرَّأْسِ، فَمَا يَسُرُّنِي بِحَلْقِ رَأْسِي حُمْرُ النَّعَمِ، أَوْ خِطْرًا عَظِيمًا
